Annual General Meeting 2024 and Social Evening
The AGM will take place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday 11 December at Dunvant Rugby Club, Broadacre, Killay, Swansea SA2 7RU
We will meet in person to hold the AGM together with a social event.
The venue will be open from 6.30 p.m. until 11 p.m. with nibbles supplied by Swansea Ramblers such as French sticks, cheese, meats, crisps, and fruit.
The Annual General Meeting will take place 7 p.m.
This meeting will be very short - to deal with presenting the Committee Report and electing the officers and members of the committee for the next year. It will be followed by a short talk by
David Rees of Ramblers Cymru who will give a talk about their work.
With this letter are the AGM papers, including forms to enable you to nominate officers, committee members and the auditor of Swansea Ramblers.
(A list of committee members wishing to continue to serve is also enclosed).
You can also (if you wish), submit a motion for consideration at the AGM, or raise a question concerning the Committee Report or some other aspect of the running of Swansea Ramblers. Such motions/queries should be submitted before the meeting by email to secretary@ramblers.org.uk by 27 November.
If you do have a question, we ask that you send it with some background information so that your query can be fully answered.
If you do not have access to email, you can post your completed documentation to:
John France, 352 Mumbles Road, West Cross, Swansea, SA3 5TW
Should such a submission result in a contested committee position or a motion to be considered, you will be given the opportunity to vote at the meeting.
