Ramblers Cymru and The Countryside Council for Wales have come to an agreement to work more
closely to encourage the public to access the countryside.
Ramblers Cymru will be consulted on projects that affect walking and our input will form part of the process to promote walking in Wales.
The Royal Welsh Show was chosen as the ideal location to sign the agreement since the visitors and exhibitors both have a keen interest in countryside matters.
The event also hosted the celebrations of the 40th year of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Trail which also now forms part of the All Wales Coast Path.
