Swansea Ramblers build a bridge for the All Wales Coast Path

25th March 2010

Swansea Ramblers joined the council workforce at Nicholaston Pill in Gower to erect a new bridge across the stream.   The big freeze had only just thawed so the water was very cold - as we found out when we had to wade into it to position the bridge!   The bridge replaced an earlier one that was prone to flooding at high tides.   This was a missing link in the ongoing All Wales Coast Path development which will be officially opened on 5th May 2012.
