Swansea Ramblers

Twr Maggie

A 6-mile walk above Pontarddulais to Twr Maggie

12th July 2025

Leader: Al Evans

Swansea Ramblers braved the hot conditions to walk up one side of the mountain above Pontarddulais then decend and climb the other side to Twr Maggie.

We had panoramic views down the Loughor Estuary to Gower and north into the countryside of Wales.

We took plenty of water and had our lunch under the welcome shade of the few trees along the way.

Another enjoyable walk with Swansea Ramblers.

Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.

Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.

Maybe you'd like to explore walking for the first time with a friendly group of people?
- Come with Swansea Ramblers!
