Swansea Ramblers travelled to the Vale of Glamorgan for two short walks from Dunraven Bay.
There were 29 of us out today on a sunny morning by the coast.
We had two walks today:
A morning walk of 3 miles which took us to Southerndown then we returned to the car park for lunch.
We then did a short 1.5 mile walk to see the walled garden and the remains of the mansion.
After the walk was over, we stopped off at The Three Golden Cups Pub for refreshments and a social before the drive back to Swansea.
We had a lovely day out thanks to Chris, our leader who took around the area where many had never been before.
If you are thinking you'd like to try walking with a group then come along and you will be very welcome to join us on our walks.
After three walks, we'll invite you to become a member and walk more often with us.
Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.
Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.
Maybe you'd like to explore walking for the first time with a friendly group of people?
