Swansea Ramblers

Mount Pleasant

A 3-mile evening walk with panoramic views and a Pizza!

12th September 2024

Leader: Alison Broady

Swansea Ramblers met outside Pizza Boyz Restaurant for a short walk ascending Townhill and Mayhill where we had a wonderful panorama over Swansea Bay to the south, Kilvey Hill to the east then northwards, Swansea Valley to the Brecon Beacons.

It was a lovely sunny and clear evening which added to the views.

We passed areas of interest before descending back to Pizza Boyz for a social and ... well... Pizzas!

Another great day out with Swansea Ramblers.

Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.

Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.

Maybe you'd like to explore walking for the first time with a friendly group of people?

Luckily, we didn't walk straight up Constitution Hill

But first we still had a lot more to see on the walk

Hmm? Maybe a walk and a meal in the Tower once the restaurant re-opens?
