Wales Air Ambulance commissioned a series of about 32 castles to be placed around Swansea.
Local businesses donated money to the charity and paid for local artists to paint individual designs on the castles.
We had a 2-mile morning walk to see the castles in the the city centre.
After a lunch break in Amy Dillwyn Park, we set off to see the rest which were scattered near the bay.
We eventually reached the last one on the pier which had only just escaped being destroyed in the fire.
Some of us then went to Verdi's for cakes and coffee while other wandered over to the Pilot for a different type of refreshment.
