Swansea Ramblers travelled to the county of Bridgend where we visited the National Nature Reserve.
We had a lovely day for the walk although the wind for July was still a little chilly!
We walked to the foreshore then made out way towards Sker Point and stopped for a Tea Break.
We then left the reserve to cross the Golf Course and make our way through farmland.
Lunch was in one of the fields then we made our way back to the start.
Our post-walk social was in the Prince of Wales Pub, just down the road from the reserve.
Another great day out with Swansea Ramblers.
Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.
Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.
Maybe you'd like to explore walking for the first time with a friendly group of people?
