Swansea Ramblers

Bishopston and the Coast Path

A 7-mile Wednesday walk

19th June 2024

Leader: Morag Eddyshaw

Swansea Ramblers went on a weekday walk on a lovely, sunny summer's day.

We started from Pyle Corner in Bishopston and made our way through fields which may soon disappear under new housing if the builders get their way.

We continued to Murton, passing the Plough and Harrow Pub and following Long Acre on our way to Bishops Wood.

We then reached Langland via the Golf Course before following the Coast Path to Caswell.

Crossing the beach at low tide, we rejoined the Coast Path as far as Brandy Cove.

We then walked some paths in Bishopston before returning to Pyle Corner.

A great day out with Swansea Ramblers.

Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.

Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.

Maybe you'd like to explore walking for the first time with a friendly group of people?
- Come with Swansea Ramblers!

If you'd like to try a Swansea walk then do come along and find out what the great outdoors is all about.

It won't cost you anything to come along and see if walking is for you.
You'll be very welcome to join us for three free walks.
