Swansea Ramblers visited Llandeilo for a spectacular display of Bluebells.
We had two walks today, the morning stroll was in Coed Tregib, A Woodland Trust Reserve.
The afternoon was spent in Castle Woods adjacent to Dinefwr Park.
Coed Tregib is a hidden gem where a fine display of Bluebells appears each May.
We walked across the suspension footbridge over the River Towy and made our way to the woodland.
We were not to be disappointed and everybody enjoyed the incredible flowering of Bluebells.
We had our lunch amongst the Bluebells then began the return journey to Llandeilo where we were to meet for the afternoon walk.
Some of our morning walkers then went to explore the town while the others, joined by those who came for just the afternoon walk, made our way into Dinefwr and Castle Wood.
Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.
Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.
Maybe you'd like to explore walking for the first time with a friendly group of people?
