Swansea Ramblers Walk

Swansea Parks

A 6-mile Saturday walk to visit some of the green areas in Swansea

27th January 2024

Leaders: Chris Roberts and Chris Horn

Swansea Ramblers had a walk in central Swansea that visited:
The Vetch Field, Swansea coastal park at Copr Bay, a walk along the beach, Singleton Park, Brynmill Park and Victoria Park.

Another popular walk, we had 43 people come along to enjoy the walk and the friendship of our regular walkers.   We were joined by new walkers who came along to experience walking with Swansea Ramblers.

The weather was mild and sunny which made us look forward to the better weather of spring and summer.    We will be enjoying even more great walks and socials during 2024.

As usual, we had a social get-together after the walk, this time in the Bay View Hotel.

Everyone is welcome to come along and try walking with us to find out how much fun walking together with friends can be.

Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.

Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.

Maybe you'd like to explore walking for the first time with a friendly group of people?
- Come with Swansea Ramblers!

If you'd like to try a Swansea walk then do come along and find out what the great outdoors is all about.

It won't cost you anything to come along and see if walking is for you.
You'll be very welcome to join us for three free walks.

If you enjoy walking with us and want to come on even more of our walks, just become a member.

When you join us for a Swansea Walk, ask us about the other walks and social events we do.
