Swansea Ramblers Walk

Cwmavon

A 2.5 mile Friday walk by the river

19th January 2024

Leader: Tony Ruggiero

Swansea Ramblers had a short and easy 2.5-mile walk alongside the River Avon at Cwmavon.

It was a cold, frosty morning but the sun was out and we had a lovely time as we made our way to the Afon Tavern.   There, in the warmth, Apple Pie was consumed and coffee drunk while we thawed out.   We then walked on the other side of the river back to the start.

Another great walk from Tony.

Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.

Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.

Maybe you'd like to explore walking for the first time with a friendly group of people?
