Swansea Ramblers braved the drizzle to walk on the beach from the Slip to Blackpill.
We were dressed up in our waterproof clothing so kept dry!
We had a tea break at Blackpill then crossed the main road to follow Ashleigh Road onto the edge of the playing fields.
We headed north on Cwm Farm Lane to Sketty Green and entered Singleton Park.
We had a lunch stop in The Botanic Garden then crossed to Brynmill Park.
We followed the streets of Brynmill and Uplands to descend hidden steps to King Edward Road.
Some of us then made our way to The Bay View Hotel where we enjoyed refreshments and a social after the walk.
Another great day out with Swansea Ramblers.
Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.
Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.
Maybe you'd like to explore walking for the first time with a friendly group of people?
