Swansea Ramblers Walk

Penclawdd

An easy, short walk of 2.5 miles

17th November 2023

Leader: Pam and Les Lewis

Swansea Ramblers like to provide a variety of different walks.   We arranged a short walk on the level multi-user path in Penclawdd which made it possible for some of our members who are unable to do longer walks to come along and enjoy a gentle stroll to coffee at The Rake and Riddle.   The sun was out and the autumn tints were in full colour.

When we reached the pub, we all sat together and enjoyed a coffee and a chat before returning the same way on the multi-user path.

Back in Penclawdd, some of us went for Fish and Chips and the rest of us went into GGs for coffee, food and Ice-cream.   We had enjoyed a great walk in good company and will look forward to our next short walk on 1st December.   Everbody is invited to come, you don't need to be a member first to try out walking with us.   Just select a walk you like and enjoy it with us.

Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.

Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.

Maybe you'd like to explore walking for the first time with a friendly group of people?
- Come with Swansea Ramblers!

If you'd like to try a Swansea walk then do come along and find out what the great outdoors is all about.

It won't cost you anything to come along and see if walking is for you.
You'll be very welcome to join us for three free walks.

If you enjoy walking with us and want to come on even more of our walks, just become a member.

When you join us for a Swansea Walk, ask us about the other walks and social events we do.
