Swansea Ramblers Walk

Cilybebyll

A 6-mile Saturday walk

Starting in Pontardawe

26th August 2023

Leader: Lucy Davies

Swansea Ramblers braved the forecast of rain to meet in the warm sunshine of Pontardawe.   Forty-one of us turned up expecting a bit of rain but even before we left the car park, an extremely heavy shower sent us on our way!   We then had a mostly dry walk as we ascended out of the Swansea Valley onto the hillside to Cilybebyll.

We had lunch at the church in Cilybebyll then began our descent to return to Pontardawe.   After the walk, we stopped at the Pontardawe Inn for refreshments and a get-together.   Another great walk with Swansea Ramblers.

Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.

Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.

Maybe you'd like to explore walking for the first time with a friendly group of people?
- Come with Swansea Ramblers!

If you'd like to try a Swansea walk then do come along and find out what the great outdoors is all about.
