Swansea Ramblers travelled to Llandeilo to see the Bluebells.
There are two areas where we could see lots of Bluebells so we split the walk into two.
The 4-mile morning walk was to the Woodland Trust Reserve of Coed Tregib.
This has an extensive flowering of native Bluebells and the woodland is filled with birdsong.
For many of our members, this was the first time they had seen the Bluebells south of the town centre.
The sun came out and shone on the flowers which even now, were not yet in full bloom due to the weather we have had this spring.
Despite that, the display was breathtaking.
After the walk was over, people then had the option to join the afternoon walk or to spend the day in the town.
A few members didn't come on the morning walk but joined just the afternoon walk into Dinefwr Park.
We had a great day out and finished off in The White Horse for refreshments in the sunshine of the beer garden.
Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.
Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.
Maybe you'd like to explore walking for the first time with a friendly group of people?
