Swansea Ramblers Walk

Clyne Country Park and Common

A 6-mile Saturday walk

1st April 2023

Leader: Enid Owen

Swansea Ramblers braved the rain to enjoy a walk in Clyne Country Park.   The rain (which was only light!) stopped after about twenty minutes, so the rest of the walk was dry.   The ground underfoot was wet and in places, muddy but we wore proper walking boots and kept dry.

We once more put to good use the long-awaited bridge over the Clyne River which gave us easy access south onto Clyne Common. Stopping at the Wildflower Cafe, we had 40 minutes for lunch to enjoy coffee and cakes.

Our return was across the common where we found even more mud but that just added to the fun of an enjoyable walk.

Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.

Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.

Maybe you'd like to explore walking for the first time with a friendly group of people?
- Come with Swansea Ramblers!
