Swansea Ramblers Walk

Pwll Du and Bishop’s Wood

A 6-mile Saturday walk

4th February 2023

Leader: Morag Eddyshaw

Swansea Ramblers walked south from Murton to descend footpaths into Bishopswood.   Stopping at Caswell Bay for coffee, we then crossed the beach to pick up the coast path.   We headed west past Brandy Cove to Caswell where we had our lunch stop on the beach.

To start our return, we ascended to the high level paths of Bishopton Valley to make our way into the village and to journey's end via Providence Lane.   Some of us went for refreshments at the Beaufort in Kittle while others went home for the 6 nations rugby match.

Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.

Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.

Maybe you'd like to explore walking for the first time with a friendly group of people?
- Come with Swansea Ramblers!
