Swansea Ramblers had another of their Monday short walks for people to begin walking, as well as for experienced walkers to get out in the fresh air.
We ascended to Hermon Chapel above the village from where we had a panorama over the southern section of Loughor Estuary.
We then crossed the hill to the other side for another panorama over the northern section of the estuary.
We dropped down into Penclawdd and resisted the tempatation to stop for Battered Cockles in the local fish and chip shop.
Instead, we continued along the back lanes of the village to return to our starting point.
Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.
Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.
Maybe you'd like to explore walking for the first time with a friendly group of people?
