Swansea Ramblers went for a walk on Swansea Beach in some glorious sunshine.
The weather was still very cold and the slippery ice on paths in the parks meant we had to alter the route.
We first walked from the Guildhall to the beach and headed west along the foreshore.
A lot of people were on the beach enjoying the sunny weather.
We walked on the harder sand to Blackpill where we stopped to have our coffee.
We then continued on the beach to West Cross before turning inland to cross the estate to Clyne Gardens.
The paths were still icy in places so we walked over the grassy paths to avoid the patches of ice.
We had lunch near the bottom entrance then crossed the main road and walked on the grass, parallel with the promenade.
We rejoined the beach at the bottom of Sketty Lane and walked back to the Guildhall.
When we got back, some of us went for refreshments to the nearby Bay View Hotel.
Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.
Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.
