Swansea Ramblers did another of their midweek evening walks that give people the chance to get out after work and unwind on a walk with a friendly group of people. We explored the back lanes of Langland then circled around to the north of the golf course. Crossing the golf course on the Right of Way, we picked up the path on the access land and headed east, enjoying the sea views on a sunny evening.
We walked through langland on the coast path and saw the new section of path by Rotherslade that took walkers inland of the cliff edge which was eroding into the sea. We then ascended the footpath that took us to Higher Lane and the end of our walk.
Following the walk, we went over to The Newton Inn where we had refreshments, sitting outside on a warm summer's evening and enjoying the social aspect of a post-walk get-together.
Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.
Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.
