Swansea Ramblers went on a safari that David Attenborough never did! Sue Aldrich took us in search of a 'Swoose'. A cross between a Goose and a Swan created a very confused Swoose who considers itself to be a Goose.
We had a lovely walk along the countryside paths in the Enterprise Zone. There was hidden woodland that people ignore as they drive by to do their shopping. We enjoyed the sunny, warm evening and made our way to the Fendrod Lake.
At the lake we soon spotted a strange looking Goose (or a strange looking Swan?). If you didn't know what you were looking for, you may never have noticed the Swoose amongst the Geese. Our thanks to Sue for spotting it and sharing the discovery with us.
Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.
Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.
