Swansea Ramblers like to get out in the summer evenings to enjoy the countryside after work.
There are so many places to enjoy a short walk and this evening we went to Three Crosses.
Close by are a few nature reserves so we walked over to Gelli Hir, a wood managed by The Wildlife Trust of South And West Wales.
We enjoyed the trails through the woods but the spring storms had brought down a few trees which hadn't yet been cleared.
We ducked and dived under and around the fallen trees to complete the walk.
We then made our way over to the nearby inn, The Poundffald where we spent some time socialising before going home.
Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.
Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.
Maybe you'd like to explore walking for the first time with a friendly group of people?
