Swansea Ramblers Walk

Swansea Marina
A walk after dusk
A Swansea Ramblers Evening Walk

16th September 2021

Leader: Andrew Morgan

As the summer daylight shortened and we moved towards autumn, our summer walk had to adjust to take account of the available light.  Forteen of us had a four-mile walk which started in the daylight but the sun soon set and we walked by the light of the many street lights of the Marina and Prince of Wales Dock.

Everybody enjoyed seeing the Marina at this time of the day and for some, they visited places in SA1 that they hadn't seen before (or not for a long time!).

We hope to offer a few walks in the dark when we carry a torch or head torch.  If you are interested, let us know!

Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.

Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.

Maybe you'd like to explore walking for the first time with a friendly group of people?
- Come with Swansea Ramblers!

If you'd like to try a Swansea walk then do come along and find out what the great outdoors is all about.

It won't cost you anything to come along and see if walking is for you.
You'll be very welcome to join us for three free walks.

If you enjoy walking with us and want to come on even more of our walks, just become a member.

When you join us for a Swansea Walk, ask us about the other walks and social events we do.
