Wednesday is the day off for the walking guides and intended to give visitors a day off from walking. Some of us took the bus to Heiterwangersee and Plansee Lakes for a boat trip to Forelle. The bus was delayed by roadworks and a very large group of German women on a coach trip had prebooked the return boat so we had to wait another hour to get back - to the roadworks! Despite all this, we had a lovely day out.
Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities from the long strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker to the short, easy lowland walks where maybe you'd like to explore walking for the first time with a friendly group of people.
