Swansea Ramblers Walk

Boxing Day Walk to Three Cliffs and Cefn Bryn

26th December 2013

Leader: Steve Robson

Steve & Julia took us on a Boxing Day Gower walk from Green Cwm to Three Cliffs Bay and up onto Cefn Bryn.  It was a fine sunny day and a pleasure to be out.  We had fine views of Pennard Castle, Three Cliffs Bay, a stop at Penmaen Castle for tea then along the coast through to Nicholaston and up onto Cefn Bryn for lunch.  Descending into Green Cwm, we made our way back to their cottage for delicious home made mince pies, wonderful stollen and a glass of mulled wine. Our new walkers couldn't believe the fun they'd had on this Swansea walk!

Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.

Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.

Maybe you'd like to explore walking for the first time with a friendly group of people?
- Come with Swansea Ramblers!

If you'd like to try a Swansea walk then do come along and find out what the great outdoors is all about.

It won't cost you anything to come along and see if walking is for you.
You'll be very welcome to join us for three free walks.
