A group of Swansea Ramblers joined Ian Botham on a charity walk on the Wales Coast Path. We raised £105 for the NSPCC and enjoyed a walk in glorious sunshine.
Ian 'Beefy' Botham walked at a very fast 4.5 miles per hour, leaving us and most of the participants far behind in his wake. It became hotter and hotter then as we reached journey's end, the rain started to fall.
A shorter version of this walk can be seen on the Self-Guided Walks section of Swansea Ramblers' web site. Just click the Evening Post button above to see maps and details.
Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.
Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.
