Swansea Ramblers Walk
Cornwall Weekend Away
Treyarnon to Padstow
19th May 2013
Leader: Mark Wolle
Our second walk in Cornwall explored more of the coast path between Treyarnon and Padstow. Again we had fabulous weather and the Cornish sunshine stayed with us all day.
Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.
Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.
Maybe you'd like to explore walking for the first time with a friendly group of people?
- Come with Swansea Ramblers!
If you'd like to try a Swansea walk then do come along and find out what the great outdoors is all about.
It won't cost you anything to come along and see if walking is for you.
You'll be very welcome to join us for three free walks.
If you enjoy walking with us and want to come on even more of our walks, just become a member.
When you join us for a Swansea Walk, ask us about the other walks and social events we do.

Setting off from Treyarnon
Crossing the beach
RNLI on patrol
Found an old collapsed cave
Sea crashes in far below
Trevose Head Lighthouse comes into view
Opportunity for a group photo
The latest Padstow Lifeboat Station
He came flying overhead
And she came swimming down below
Rather her than me
Maybe trying to surf
Or break the cliff jumping record
But didn't succeed and we never knew what happened to her
Still on the South West Coast Path
A few ups & downs
And Walter decided to snooze in the sunshine
Beacon at the mouth of Padstow Bay
Which was guarded by a herd of cattle
Found a Welsh speaking Coast watch officer
If you're thirsty for Cornish ale,
this is where the original Doombar sandbank threatens boats that sail too close
Could do with a pint of Doombar in this heat!
Padstow in the distance
We won't use the ferry today
Journey's end - now for the Cornish Icecreams!!
