Swansea Ramblers' Big Welsh Walk Festival continued on Bank Holiday Sunday with a walk to some of Swansea's Parks.
Starting from the Civic Centre, we strolled along the beach to the Slip and from there visited Victoria Park. A short walk along the beach again and we were at Singleton Park. We followed the stream to Brynmill park and had refreshments at the kiosk before continuing around the lake.
Leaving by the gate we entered, we returned to Singleton Park, had lunch at the Botanical Gardens then looked at the Rhododendrons in the Educational Gardens before leaving via the University gate for Mumbles Road. Crossing the bridge, we re-joined the beach and returned to the Civic Centre.
Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.
Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.
