We went on a walk with Cynon Valley Ramblers led by Allan Harrison. It's good to walk with other Ramblers' groups to see where they like to walk and in return we lead walks in Gower for them. Allan took us to see two burial chambers and on the way we had lots of mud to remind us of the bad weather we've been having.
It was bitterly cold but none of that heavy snow experienced in other parts of the UK. We warmed up afterwards in The Red Lion where we socialised and had fun before making our way home.
Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.
Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.
Maybe you'd like to explore walking for the first time with a friendly group of people?
