Our leader took us on another of her local walks through the interesting but often overlooked Bishopston Valley. It was a bit muddy in places but it is winter and we were rewarded with glorious views over the South Gower Coast at Pwlldu.
The route then followed the Wales Coast Path east to Caswell and Langland. Turning inland and through Bishop's Wood Nature Reserve, the group made its way past unusual buildings more suited to Hobbits than people.
Eventually leaving the top of the valley we headed back to the start at Murton. Another Swansea Walk thoroughly enjoyed by all who came. A number of people saw the walk advertised in What's On and asked for membership forms to join us.
Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.
Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.
Maybe you'd like to explore walking for the first time with a friendly group of people?
