Al led a walk designed to introduce people to walking. The riverside car park at Loughor leads to a fairly flat, gentle walk along the riverside. We had people new to walking as well as some of our older members who wanted a shorter, easier walk. We crossed the bridge into Carmarthenshire and over the pedestrian bridge to the coast path. We had lovely sunny weather and a cool breeze, so we didn't overheat. The short walks continue with occasional Monday walks of about 4 miles and Saturday walks of 6 miles.
Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.
Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.
Maybe you'd like to explore walking for the first time with a friendly group of people?
