Swansea Ramblers Walk
with coffee and cake!
12th December 2020
Leader: Kathleen Boyce & Freya Sanders
Kathleen led today for the first time and together with Freya took us on a lovely walk with great views. We were lucky to have a sunny day after a week of rain. We had good views over Swansea Bay from Mumbles Lighthouse to Sker Point then followed the path on the common across the golf course. Our destination was the Wildflower Cafe to enjoy coffee and cakes!
Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities from the long strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker to the short, easy lowland walks where maybe you'd like to explore walking for the first time with a friendly group of people.
If you'd like to try a walk then do come along and find out what all this Swansea Walking in the great outdoors is all about. It won't cost you anything to come along and see if walking is for you.
If you get the bug and want to walk or stroll regularly then you can also become a member. Just ask us about the walks and social events we do when you join us for a Swansea Walk.

Started by walking through Clyne Gardens
Then ascended the old bridleway to Clyne Farm
where we had views over Swansea Bay
Then onto the common for more views
The path crosses the golf course
After coffee and cakes it was back onto the common
Once across the golf course, a rainbow appeared before us
Which captivated everybody
