Swansea Ramblers went on a Gower walk starting from Limeslade and crossing the top of the cliffs. Gower walking in winter can be muddy but this Gower stroll went across the exposed headland during some bad weather that made the going hard. About 37 of us started off and some came with us only to Langland where we stopped for tea. The stalwarts set off for Caswell along the top path again. A Gower hike can be fun in good weather but we didn't mind the bad weather anyway as we passed the storm damaged remains of the Caswell cafe and began our return journey. Some of us after the walk went to Castellemare for coffee to warm up after a windy, showery walk in Gower. If you'd like to try a walk then do come along and find out what all this Swansea Walking in the great outdoors is all about. It won't cost you anything to come along and see if walking is for you. If you get the bug and want to walk or stroll regularly then you can also become a member. Just ask us about the walks we do when you join us for a Swansea Walk.
