The Alternative Wales Coast Path Margam to Briton Ferry
21st January 2014
Leader: Richard Beale
Richard led a midweek walk on the alternative high level Wales Coast Path which was proposed to the council and Welsh Goverment by Swansea Ramblers when Andrew and Zetta surveyed Neath Port Talbot to devise the route through the county. Richard based his walk on one of a series of walks to be found on the BayTrans web site under the title, 'Walking with the bus in Swansea Bay' which encourages greener public transport options. A group of Neath Port Talbot Ramblers joined us and we walked back to Briton Ferry, enjoying wonderful views over the area. If you'd like to try a walk then do come along and find out what all this Swansea Walking in the great outdoors is all about. It won't cost you anything to come along and see if walking is for you. If you get the bug and want to walk or stroll regularly then you can also become a member. Just ask us about the walks we do when you join us for a Swansea Walk.
