Swansea Ramblers Walk

Boxing Day Walk to Three Cliffs and Cefn Bryn

26th December 2013

Leader: Steve Robson

Steve & Julia took us on a Boxing Day Gower walk from Green Cwm to Three Cliffs Bay and up onto Cefn Bryn.  It was a fine sunny day and a pleasure to be out.  We had fine views of Pennard Castle, Three Cliffs Bay, a stop at Penmaen Castle for tea then along the coast through to Nicholaston and up onto Cefn Bryn for lunch.  Descending into Green Cwm, we made our way back to their cottage for delicious home made mince pies, wonderful stollen and a glass of mulled wine. Our new walkers couldn't believe the fun they'd had on this Swansea walk!  If you'd like to try a walk then do come along and find out what all this Swansea Walking in the great outdoors is all about.  It won't cost you anything to come along and see if walking is for you.  If you get the bug and want to walk or stroll regularly then you can also become a member.  Just ask us about the walks we do when you join us for a Swansea Walk.
