Swansea Ramblers Walk

Llangennech

10th November 2013

Leader: Gail Allen

This Swansea Walk took place outside of Swansea on the other side of the Loughor Estuary.  Gail took us to Llangennech to visit Troserch Woods and see great views to Whiteford Point and the surrounding area.  Being Remembrance Sunday, we held a Two Minutes Silence before continuing on our way.  A tranquil estuary view provided a tea stop before we made our way back to the start then onto a local pub for a bit of a social.  If you'd like to try a walk then do come along and find out what all this Swansea Walking in the great outdoors is all about.  It won't cost you anything to come along and see if walking is for you.  If you get the bug and want to walk or stroll regularly then you can also become a member.  Just ask us about the walks we do when you join us for a Swansea Walk.
