Swansea Ramblers Walk

Bishopston to Caswell

6th January 2013

Leader: J. Jones

Our leader took us on another of her local walks through the interesting but often overlooked Bishopston Valley.  It was a bit muddy in places but it is winter and we were rewarded with glorious views over the South Gower Coast at Pwlldu.  The route then followed the Wales Coast Path east to Caswell and Langland.  Turning inland and through Bishop's Wood Nature Reserve, the group made its way past unusual buildings more suited to Hobbits than people.  Eventually leaving the top of the valley we headed back to the start at Murton.  Another Swansea Walk thoroughly enjoyed by all who came. A number of people saw the walk advertised in What's On and asked for membership forms to join us.  If you'd like to try a walk then do come along and find out what all this Swansea Walking is all about.  It won't cost you anything to come along and see if walking is for you.  If you get the bug and want to walk regularly then you can also become a member.  Just ask us about the walks we do when you join us for a walk.
