Andrew Morgan led a walk from Llandeilo into the National Trust Parkland. After walking near the river in search of herons and otters, we circled around to the lake and up to the old medieval castle. Our secretary, Professor John France gave us an impromtu talk about the history of the castle and brought it to life. We had stunning panoramas from the parapets.
