Our leader Jack Vernon took a group of people on a short but interesting walk at Penmaen. This was one of a series of 'Stepping Stone' walks designed to introduce people to walking and provide walks for some of our members who could no longer walk very far.
Very sadly, Jack died in 2012 and we will miss one of our stalwart leaders.
If you could lead a short walk to help others get into walking and so improve their health, we would love to hear from you. We offer 6-mile walks on Saturdays and 4-mile walks on Mondays.
Swansea Ramblers offer a range of walks for most abilities.
Try an easy walk of 2-3 hours or our longer strenuous mountain walks for the experienced walker.
